Wellington Engineering are specialists in precision and production engineering as well as experimental and prototype work. We have a long list of varied and satisfied customers but our main customers are experts in their own fields of cryogenics, simulation and semi-conduction. We also support customers in the Microwave, Automobile, Telecommunications and Medical industries.
Our extensive range of machinery means we are able to work to short lead times if required. With 29 machines, 18 of which are CNC machining centres, we can offer our customers a varied service of engineering technology. With an approved sub-contractor list we allow ourselves to broaden our services to meet total engineering solutions. Should you wish your components to be assembled we also offer a basic assembly service line.
Inspection & Quality Control
Our fully equipped inspection assures excellent quality as standard and we can provide CMM inspection reports including First Article Inspection if required.
Our full-time inspection team works independently of production areas,
ensuring unbiased dimensional checking and fact finding.
Each part undergoes first-off approval before going into production, followed by in-process and regular patrol inspections to monitor for changes, and final-off inspection before the batch is delivered or placed into stock. Special inspection requirements including SPC can also be
undertaken on request.
Delivery
Close links with the M4 and M25 motorways enable our services to be backed up an efficient delivery service to all our existing and potential customers. Our vans are able to take long lengths of tubing up to 3.2 mtrs long and large kits boxes if required.
